What's Eating Your Roof?
Those unsightly black streaks on your roof is not dirt. It is an infestation. One of these tiny microorganisms is called Gleocapsa Magma. This organism creates a habitat on your roof, that once
established, is the perfect environment for more harmful microorganisms to grow. These molds, algae, mildew, bacteria, and lichen are eating the limestone fillers in asphalt shingles, resulting in decomposition of the surfaces on which they grow.
Just as in nature, these organisms, after time, break down objects smaller and smaller until they become part of the soil. Left untreated these organisms drastically reduce the life expectancy of your roof and other surfaces on your property. The stains you see are thriving colonies of pests. To eradicate these pests the colonies must be killed. Our solution, which is recommended by the American Roofing Manufacturer Association, is applied at low pressure, and when necessary, is gently rinsed away. This 100% biodegradable solution kills the organisms, cleans the surface, and leaves behind a spore growth inhibitor to guard and protect your property from future infestations.
What is Soft Wash?
Soft washing is a process used to clean that utilizes a low pressure stream to apply a customized solution, effectively treating and cleaning exteriors. Because different surfaces, for example: vinyl siding; brick; shingles; concrete; wood, and contaminants need to be uniquely treated, our cleaning solutions are custom blended on site. This approach maximizes the solutions cleaning power.
Why not pressure wash?
